LUMA Application
Black, Indigenous, and Latinx womxn continue to be underrepresented in the physical sciences, and LUMA is here to change that. We aim to provide a safe space for these individuals while also growing a thriving network of allies who will support us in our mission. To serve our diverse community, we offer two types of memberships:
  • LUMA-lites: Programming is tailored to Black, Indigenous, and Latinx identifying womxn who are post-baccalaureate students, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty, and research scientists in the space sciences.
  • LUMA-allies: Colleagues and students at any stage who want to engage with and support in building an inclusive community. 
Different people have different needs - and our memberships are designed to provide tailored programming to reflect this diversity. Thank you for being part of our mission!
