This conference isn’t for people who want to teach how to get rich, this is for those who want to teach how to get free. This isn't about Bitcoin, but rather what Bitcoin will teach us: critical thought, personal responsibility and ultimately self-sovereignty. Bitcoin teaches us to lower our time preference and look further into the future—and that changes everything. When we have control over our lives and future, it encourages us to build and plan.

Bitcoin allows us to define our destiny.

And if the point is to allow people to think for themselves then it’s so important that we, as educators, do not dictate to students what to believe but rather allow them to arrive at their own conclusions. We live in a world where we are constantly told what to think; this must be different.

This Unconference is about revolution.

It’s about sharing best practices, creating international communication channels and entrenching an idea whose time has come: that independent, impartial, community-led Bitcoin education will change the world.

The event will (likely) be divided into three areas. The first will be a more traditional setting with speakers, a stage, a microphone and lots of chairs facing one direction. Another space will be a pre-organized for thematic discussions, each with a lead to keep the group on track, but open for all to contribute. In the true spirit of an unconference, which is decentralized and where content and direction is decided by all participants, there will be a third space outside whose schedule will be made the day of the event.

All applications must be related to the topic of Bitcoin education. The deadline to apply to speak is March 20, 2025.
