Selecting 8 replacement artworks for Kirkbymoorside Surgery.

project outline...
It’s widely understood that our surroundings have an impact on the way we think, feel and behave. Paintings in Hospitals will be working with Kirkbymoorside Surgery to help improve the environment for patients, service users and staff members. Through the display of 8 replacement artworks from our collection we hope to create a welcoming and stimulating environment, conducive to improving wellbeing and promoting a positive image of health and social care.
key facts...
Paintings in Hospitals use art to inspire better health and wellbeing. We exist to help create person-centred care spaces that encourage, enrich and empower service users and staff.

Founded in 1959, we’re the UK’s leading arts in health charity. Six decades of expertise has allowed us to develop a unique collection of 4,000 museum-quality artworks. Our art ranges from paintings and drawings to sculptures and animations, some by the world’s greatest artists.

The Department of Health, NHS and CQC recognise us as a leading provider of arts in health services. Research has shown that our art contributes to the healing process.

Your thoughts...
We’d like to hear your thoughts on the types of artworks that you’d like to see at the surgery. We will be asking lots of people for their input, from service users and staff, to visitors.
