Proposals for Polyglot Gathering Online 2025
Thanks for your interest in Polyglot Gathering Online! If you'd like to attend as a speaker, fill in this questionnaire to let us know what you'd like to talk about.

If you would like to submit several program proposals, please fill in this form separately for each proposal.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 30 to 45 minute talks on languages, learning methods, related jobs, interesting projects
  • language crash courses
  • interactive workshops
  • tutorials on how to learn language-related skills
  • panel discussions
  • language games
We're looking for talks that inform and inspire. Please avoid self-promotion or advertising, unless you're a sponsor. We welcome talks that provide valuable insights while avoiding excessive focus on personal stories.

You can have a look at last year’s program to get a general idea.

DEADLINES
  1. The 1st deadline for program proposals is 15 January 2025 AoE (Anywhere on Earth). We'll get back to selected speakers by 22 January 2025.
  2. The 2nd deadline for program proposals is 6 February 2025 AoE. We'll get back to selected speakers by 13 February 2025.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Please be aware that Polyglot Gathering 2025 will be held online so you need to ensure that you have the following:
  • a laptop or desktop PC
  • a recent version of Chrome, Firefox or Safari
  • a mic and webcam
  • a good Internet connection
Most programs will be presented live, however we can accept a few talks registered in advance.

Non-interactive talks and panel discussions will be streamed to the Polyglot Gathering Online platform and you will receive questions from the viewers in writing.
Interactive workshops and language crash courses will be held on Zoom to make interaction possible.

RECORDINGS
By filling out this form you agree that your talk will be recorded and published on our YouTube channel some time after the end of Polyglot Gathering. For the time being, we are determining if interactive workshops and language crash courses will be published on YouTube later.
