NHSDC Spring 2026 Session Application

We are thrilled to announce the opening of the call for session proposals for the Spring 2026 National Human Services Data Consortium (NHSDC) Conference. Our theme this year is Data for a Changing Desert: Addressing Human Services Challenges.

The general conference will be held in Albuquerque, NM on April 13 - 15, 2026.

We are looking for interactive, quality session proposals that tell the data partnership stories from your community. Please note the conference will be in-person, with no hybrid or virtual option for this content.

Use this form to submit a session proposal. You may submit as many proposals as you wish. After you click submit, you will be given a link to submit another proposal.

Proposals are due by Friday, December 12th, 2025 at 11:59pm PT.

Session Proposal

We are requesting proposals in the following general topic areas:
  • Cross-System Interoperability (such as closed-loop referrals to mainstream benefits and services, and medicaid integration)
  • Network Building (such as successful cross-system collaborative models, and effective partnerships with tribal housing programs)
  • Prioritizing Subpopulations (such as best practices for youth census counts, and strategies to serve aging adults)
  • Creative Funding Solutions (such as braiding funds, and capital campaigns)
Even if your presentation does not neatly fit the topic areas suggested above, we strongly encourage you to submit your idea. We value all proposals, as great ideas can come from anywhere and can contribute significantly to our conference's success! Proposals will be evaluated based on their relevance to the conference theme, clarity of objectives, and potential impact.

Speaker Discounts and Scholarships:
Presenters chosen for the NHSDC Conference will receive discounted event registration. To qualify for the discount, presenters must register for the conference by the registration deadline. Please note, for panel presentations, discounts will be limited to three (3) presenters. Selected presenters will be provided with a code for registration.

Additionally, we are excited to offer scholarships to a small number of attendees. We are working diligently to release the scholarship application soon and will announce it using the NHSDC mailing list. Unfortunately, we typically receive dozens of scholarship applications and cannot provide them to everyone who requests one. If any of your speakers require a scholarship to attend, please note that they may not receive one, and alternative arrangements must be made.

Data Disaggregation
All presentations must protect anonymity; all data must be aggregated and presented in a way that no reasonably foreseeable method could be used to identify any individual.

Modification of Selected Proposals
The conference committee reserves the right to require modifications to content, both in the application of content and immediately before the session is presented. Modifications may include asking presenters to revise their presentations or combine separate but similar presentations into a single presentation.

Vendor Neutrality
NHSDC strives to promote best practices, educate, and share data-informed results. To best foster such an atmosphere, NHSDC adheres to our vendor-neutral policy. Accepted sessions are required to comply, and each speaker will be asked to sign a document acknowledging their understanding of the policy before the session is presented at the fall conference.

You can read the full policy and see the acknowledgment here. A copy of the form will be provided at the conference for your signature.
