UP SikLab (Saliksik Lab) is a professional development center for Filipino researchers and faculty members. Our courses are designed to help increase the quality and quantity of research output.

It is a Skills in Technical and Advanced Research Training (START) Center under the USAID STRIDE program.

Courses offered:

Course 1
Research: From Concept to Impact
- This module allows the participants to prepare a research proposal, on a topic of their choice, for possible submission to a funding agency or institution.

Course 2
Technology Transfer: From Lab to Market
- This module allows the participants to understand statutory and regulatory guidelines related to technology transfer, to expand industry network, to develop relationship management skills, and to develop value propositions canvases and business model canvases for pitching proposals to industry partners.

Course 3
Executive-level Course for Tech Transfer
- This module allows the middle management up to executive level participants to prepare themselves for establishing or expanding the operation of a technology transfer office within their Research and Development Institution (RDI).
