The Colorado chapter of the Distraction-Free Schools Policy Project developed this survey to gather diverse experiences and perspectives regarding screen time and technology use in our children's PreK-12 schools.

Your responses will be shared with Colorado lawmakers so they know their constituents care about these issues.

Pre-K to 5 grade: All hands-on, print-based instruction, with exceptions for grades 3-5 for assessment preparation, computer science standards and IEP/504 accommodations.

Grades 6 to 8: Screen time done in a computer lab or a shared computer cart model.

Grades 9 to 12: Screen time done in a computer lab or a computer cart model. One-to-one digital may be introduced.

All screen time should be for educational purposes, teacher-led and actively supervised.
