We will do our best to diagnose and repair your system.

A non-refundable diagnostic charge of $600 will be assessed on each repair item out of warranty whether the item is a complete antenna, receiver, transmitter or returned subcomponent. For example, some subcomponents are loop antennas, modules, pcbs, tuners, and power supplies. If the item is extensively corroded or dirty, a deep-cleaning charge will be added to the repair quote or debited against the minimum diagnostic fee. If repair or diagnostic fees are expected to exceed this minimum, you will be provided a diagnosis and a quote for you to authorize further work. Simple repairs will be included in the minimum diagnostic charge. There is no diagnostic fee for items under warranty.

When the RMA is issued, be sure to indicate if you require any unrepairable items to be returned to you; otherwise, we will eventually send them to an electronic recycling plant. Please note that returned unrepairable items cannot be repaired in the future.

When the RMA is issued, be sure to indicate your operating frequency. If we have the receiver we will assume it’s the stored frequency; however, for transmitters, and antennas, it will delay the repair if we need to contact you for the frequency.

When a repair quote is issued, you have the option to not repair any item; however, the diagnostic fee is still due and that time we will inquire if you want your items returned or disposed of. We will make every effort to contact you; however, after three months with no arrangement, we will assume the equipment has been abandoned.

CODAR is not responsible for RMA items lost or damaged in transport to us. Any shipping insurance is up to you, if you or your organization needs to cover possible loss or extra damage of the items being sent.
