UWL Mentor Application 2019-2020
UW Leaders is a leadership development program in the ASUW that has been shaping young leaders for twenty years. Beginning in the fall, the Director and Assistant Director work with our program's mentors to develop a curriculum consisting of weekly workshops every Wednesday from 5-7pm for incoming first, second, and transfer third year students. These workshops are designed to teach program participants how to utilize valuable leadership skills. In addition, students have the ability to apply these skills through participating in a leadership practice.

Mentors are individuals who are trained throughout Fall quarter and will be paired with a group of mentees when the program officially starts in the Winter. Mentors are expected to have significant leadership experience that will equip them with the knowledge to help them be successful in this mentor-mentee relationship. As a Mentor in the program, you would also develop, implement, and coordinate the weekly workshops and special events of the program. Mentors from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
