Le Carrousel Birthday Party Inquiry Form 

Le Carrousel birthday parties may be booked April through September.

Please defer to events@wintervillage.org for Winter Village party bookings November through February. 

Fete Picnic party

Cost: $50 per child, $600 minimum (covers 12 children) 

If you prefer to customize your own party, Fete Picnic is the ideal plan.

The picnic package consists of:

  • Unlimited rides on Le Carrousel for one hour during regular hours of operation
  • Use of party space adjacent to Le Carrousel for an hour and a half
  • Set up of tables, chairs, and umbrellas
  • ID bracelets for use during the hour of unlimited rides as admission to the carousel. (There is no exclusive use of the carousel unless booked with Pastorale package or greater and the booking occurs before the carousel is open to the public)
  • Onsite liaison from the park’s staff

Client to provide, if desired:

  • Food & beverage
  • All paper goods (napkins, plates, plastic utensils, table covers, decorations, party candles, etc.)
  • Cake
  • Party favors
  • Entertainment with prior approval of Bryant Park management and a $100 location fee

Fete Pastorale party

Cost: $65 per child, $780 minimum (covers 12 children) 

This package consists of everything in the Picnic package plus:

  • Pizza and beverages for children

Client to provide, if desired:

  • Cake
  • All paper goods (napkins, plates, plastic utensils, table covers, decorations, party candles, etc.)
  • Party favors
  • Entertainment with prior approval of Bryant Park management and a $100 location fee

Fete Galante party

Cost: $85 per child, $1020 minimum (covers 12 children)

The deluxe option includes everything in the Pastorale package plus:

  • *Face painting or balloon twisting for 1 hour (covers 12 children) 

*Pending availability -If Face Painting and Balloon twisting cannot be booked the package will automatically be reduced to the Fete Pastorale package. 

Client to provide, if desired:

  • Cake
  • All paper goods (napkins, plates, plastic utensils, table covers, decorations, party candles, etc.)
  • Party favors

All parties last 90 minutes and may be extended by 30 minutes at $200 per half hour. Maximum extension time is 1 hour. Time extensions allow for additional 30 minutes of carousel rides for all children.

Please note, weekday parties have a 10% discount for the first 12 children which will be calculated when we settle up during your party. (All addons are not subject to discounts)

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if it rains or there is bad weather?
If your party is affected by inclement weather, you may reschedule it for any available date within 12 calendar months of your original party date.


Will Bryant Park be open to the public during my party?
Yes. Le Carrousel remains open to the public during regular operating hours, and other events or programs may also be taking place elsewhere in Bryant Park at the same time.


Can more than one child celebrate a birthday?
Each party package is designed for one birthday child. If additional children are celebrating, an additional fee will apply.


How early can I arrive to set up?
You may begin setting up 45 minutes before your scheduled party start time.


Who is responsible for cleaning up?
The booking parent/guardian is responsible for placing all party trash and debris into the provided trash receptacles as well as taking down all decorations before leaving. We will handle the rest.

 
How is the guest count determined?
The guest count includes everyone under the age of 16.


Will photos or videos be taken during my event?
Bryant Park Corporation reserves the right to photograph or record parties for promotional and marketing purposes.


Can I hire my own entertainer?
Yes, but all outside entertainment must be approved by Bryant Park management. A $100 site fee applies for outside entertainment per entertainer, including performers recommended by Bryant Park.


Will there be staff available during my party?
Yes. Bryant Park will provide one staff member on-site during your celebration.


Who supervises the children?
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children throughout the event. Bryant Park staff cannot supervise children's behavior. For safety, we recommend at least one adult for every seven children.


Are there any decorations that are not allowed?
Yes. Helium balloons, small-particle decorations (such as confetti or glitter), and Styrofoam products are not permitted.


Can I use third-party vouchers or discount offers?
No. Third-party vouchers and discounts are not accepted for birthday parties.


Can I bring my own decorations, cake, flowers, or entertainment?
Yes. Any items or services not included in your selected party package—including decorations, flowers, specialty entertainment, birthday cakes, and additional supplies—must be arranged and paid for by the booking parent/guardian.


What happens if my party runs over the reserved time?
Additional time is charged at $200 per half hour, for up to one additional hour, subject to availability.


How do I reserve my party date?
Fill out the booking form. Your party date will be confirmed once a non-refundable deposit is received and the contract is signed.

 
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining minimum balance is due on the day of your party before the celebration begins.
