Recommended audience size
Our main symposium room seats about 250 attendees, with room for additional standees, and our workshop room can hold up to 50. We try to limit workshops to a manageable number depending on the activity and level of instruction being given. If there is a maximum audience size that you suggest for your presentation, please let us know.

The Tiki Kon symposium series is a community-building event with a minimal budget.

General admission to most presentations is included with all weekend passes on a first-come, first-seated basis for up to 250 attendees. Compensation for regular speakers who submit a proposal is typically limited to a Deluxe Weekend Pass ($199), which includes all weekend shows and symposiums, plus the Saturday banquet dinner and Polynesian floor show and a souvenir Tiki Kon glassware set. If the presenter is promoting a product or business, complimentary exhibit space and other promotional opportunities are available.

Workshops are more focused and hands-on, often have materials costs, and can only seat up to 50 attendees. These are hard-ticketed presentations with an additional cost to attendees. Workshop presenters receive 50% of proceeds from ticket sales, after seller fees, materials and other costs to Tiki Kon are deducted.

Compensation for special guest presenters, which Tiki Kon uses to promote and drive ticket sales, is negotiable.
