The People's Senate Map Feedback Form
Fair Districts PA invites your feedback as we finalize an FDPA draft of a PA House District Map for submission to the Legislative Reapportionment Commission for their consideration. The deadline for feedback is November 7. A final version will be submitted on November 10.

This draft is the culmination of months of mapping competitions, mapping conversations, and input from local groups across Pennsylvania. While no major shifts will be possible at this point, local insight is still essential as we look for small adjustments that will help make districts more representative of PA's counties and communities.

Essential concerns, including compactness, minority representation and minimizing partisan bias, have been considered in metrics visible in Dave's Redistricting App's Analyze and Advanced pages. Other goals are not so easily measured and require local feedback.

One major goal in this was to minimize dividing municipalities and school districts to no more than mathematically necessary plus one.

Another goal was to keep college and university campuses within one district if possible.

A third goal was to make sure districts don't cross ridges or rivers in places where there is no real way across.

Please let us know if you see places where these goals need correction.
