AIS Identification Workshops
Aquatic Invasive Species Identification Workshops

While you are out on the lake, you make look around at the plants and animals in the water and wonder; is it native? Is it invasive? I just can’t tell!

If you’re finding aquatic plant and animal identification a bit confusing, join us for a free lakeside workshop where local experts will help you identify the most common invasive plants - curly leaf pondweed and Eurasian water milfoil - and how to tell the difference between the native plants. After a brief presentation and opportunity for updates from lake association members, you will learn about the invasive species.
