ALL CLUB MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO SERVE ON COMMITTEES WHEN REQUESTED, ASSIST AT TOURNAMENTS, ASSIST AT SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES AND RANGE MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS, AND TO ATTEND MEETINGS AS REGULARLY AS POSSIBLE.

Choose a date or dates for volunteer service, then pick one or more tasks for each date. Members are required to sign up for a clean up task and two or more work tasks for the year(1). There are limits on the number of people required for each job function, it is possible for some position requests to be overfilled (and will be received in a first come first served basis) before the site is modified. You will be contacted to select another function if a job position in this situation

(1.) A decision by the Board requires all members (to the best of their of abilities) attend one session of our annual cleanup days. This year we have scheduled 2 days (April 28 & May 5) with each day broken into (2) 4 hour sifts. On our recent Membership Renewal Application (On Line) it states you need to signup for (2) work details. That is in addition to your cleanup shift. So it boils down to actually doing (3) work details. Hope this clarifies any questions.

(2.)I also want to remind everyone that the bylaws were amended almost a year ago and and one of the amendment clauses requires all members to renew their membership during the Month of January. Starting in February there will be a $5.00 penalty for each month after January.

DVA 3D Shoot Job Descriptions

Shoot Supervisor:
Arrive early to inspect/correct problems on the course, fill in/train registration 1st shift and assist where work is needed to ensure the shoot starts, continues smoothly, and is the last person to leave to ensure all is cleaned up, locked up, etc.
Shoot Supervisor counts as two work activities.

Setup:
Arrive ready to work (Fri. at 5 pm for a two-day shoot or Sat. at 8 am for a one-day shoot).
Pull animals from storage as directed by setup supervisor.
Place targets (40) and shooting stakes at proper locations.
Report any damage or questions to supervisor.

Registration: 1st Shift 6:30AM - 10:00AM 2nd Shift 9:30AM - 1:00PM
Get setup table from kitchen.
Money and materials are in storage box in the kitchen.
Participants must sign in (sheet provided) and pay according to instructions (instructions in box).
Hand out scorecards, pencils, and direct shooters to 1st or 21st target.
Second shift registration: should direct people to 1st target only.

Kitchen: 1st Shift 7:00AM - 10:30AM 2nd Shift 10:00AM - 2:00PM
Remove gas grill from building.
Put water in roaster and turn on. Start gas grill. Set up condiment table.
Cook hot dogs & hamburgers and keep warm in roaster.
Dice onions and put out condiments.
Sell product according to menu list (posted). Change drawer provided.
Second shift cleans up and puts everything away.

Teardown: 2:00 PM
Arrive on time. Use ATV and trailer to pick up targets
Make sure people are off course before picking up targets.
Store stakes and numbers from each position in proper racks.
Store targets in building in organized fashion.
Report any shortages or damage to teardown supervisor.
