PSSS Seabird ID quiz
Thank you for your interest in the Puget Sound Seabird Survey (PSSS), a community science program dedicated to documenting marine birds throughout the southern Salish Sea. This quiz is meant to provide us with a semi-standardized way to learn more about volunteer seabird identification skills, and will aid us in putting together robust survey teams. Although this may not accurately reflect your true birding prowess, it is a helpful way for us to learn more about your familiarity with identifying seabirds. There are 18 questions, and should take you no more than about 15 minutes.

In order for us to accurately assess your seabird ID abilities, please do not use any external materials (including books, apps, or internet resources) when taking the quiz. If you are unsure or cannot make an educated guess, please use the "I don't know" option. Just do the best you can. Your score, correct answers, and ID tips will be provided at the end of the quiz.

Thank you!
