Pledge To Our Keiki - brings together local organizations across Hawai’i to empower our youth in taking the lead to preserve our island. This initiative works in tandem with the adoption of a “Green Passport” Program which establishes a visitor green fee to fund conservation efforts and raise environmental awareness amongst residents and visitors while also funding the gap for agencies, nonprofits and community organizations serving environmental, cultural and community building initiatives.
Kōkua Exchange - A Hawai’i-focused TimeBank dedicated to creating a sharing community of time, services, and skills. This program supports community building, economic sustainability, and exchanges of Aloha through skill sharing and supports organizations in capacity building through virtual volunteer opportunities.
Volunteer Week Hawai’i - The largest volunteer-focused campaign in Hawai’i in celebration of National Volunteer Week in the United States. This cross-sector initiative is a collaborative effort to take grassroots action supporting social, environmental, cultural, and educational initiatives that serve socioeconomically and racially diverse communities in Hawai’i through the advocacy and support of volunteerism.
Respond With Aloha - Our volunteer platform launched during Volunteer Week Hawai’i as Kanu Hawai’i’s response to Covid-19 assisting nonprofits across Hawai’i with marketing support for volunteer events and opportunities.
