Public Vote: Heritage Angel Awards 2017
The Heritage Angel Awards Northern Ireland, organised by the Ulster Architectural Heritage Society, and funded by the Andrew Lloyd Weber Foundation and the Department for Communities, celebrate the efforts of people who go to extraordinary lengths to protect, save and share their local heritage. The awards also recognise people who champion their local heritage by sharing and practising forgotten craft skills. They also celebrate young people, recognising their efforts to learn about heritage.

The award categories are:

Best Rescue of a Historic Building
Best Contribution to a Heritage Project by Young People
Best Craftsmanship or Apprentice on a Heritage Rescue or Repair Project
Best Rescue, Recording or Interpretation of a Historic Place

A carefully selected panel of judges are deciding on the award winners in each category.
