Film Dialogues
Hear from three experts about their experiences in the film industry. How they got started, challenges, highlights and favourite projects. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions after each talk.

Session 2, 12:30-1:30 pm
Audio and Sound
When filmmakers are asked how they transitioned from hobbyist to professional, a production detail often included in the answer is: attention to sound. If you'd like to know more about how you can develop and use better sound techniques, both technically and creatively, join us for a sound seminar to discuss best practices for aspiring filmmakers – tips and tricks in recording and editing dialogue, sfx and music will be demonstrated to render your narrative more engaging to all audiences. This is a perfect seminar to gain an edge for new and aspiring filmmakers.

Youth Film Festival Submissions Open Feb. 1st, 2020 with entries due June 1st, 2020.
