RISE Lincoln Leadership Team Application
If you are interested in joining the RISE Lincoln Leadership Team, please complete the following application by June 1, 2019.

RISE Lincoln is a a motivating series designed to connect the community of Lincoln's women business leaders. Events are held monthly in the Fall and the Spring. Speakers are curated from the local community for most events and national speakers are tapped for the Summer Bash, the RISE kick-off event.

The members of the Leadership Team are generally responsible for:

-Meeting monthly (in person or virtually) as a team
-Setting the overall theme for each year
-Determining dates/times for each event prior to each season
-Brainstorming, organizing, & reaching out to potential speakers
-Documenting your role and process for future use and reference

The RISE Lincoln Leadership Team consists of five positions including:
-Event Logistics Coordinator (currently held by Kailee Schmitt)
-Communications and PR Coordinator (Open Position)
-Billing and Sponsorships Coordinator (Open Position)
-Coaching Community Coordinator (currently held by Amy Kloefkorn)
-Rise Intern (Open Position)

There are three open positions currently in the RISE Lincoln Leadership Team:

Communications and PR Coordinator
Role includes:
-Composes and sends event emails and invites utilizing MailChimp/Eventbrite
-Oversees changes and updates to the website
-Creates and distributes social media events and invites
-Attends all events and helps with execution
-Documents role: Timeline of invites, passwords/logins for external sites

Billing and Sponsorships Coordinator
Role includes:
-Solicits and coordinates sponsors for event food/beverage, summer bash and any other necessary sponsors
-Coordinates accounts payable and receivable ensuring payments are made 
-Documents role: Companies/organizations who were reached out to for sponsorship, relationships, contacts and commitments

Rise Intern (typically held by a current college-level student)
Role includes:
-Creates regular content and manages the social media pages
-Maintains attendee email/contact lists
-Organizes, maintains and forwards the Rise Lincoln email account
-Updates and maintains the email list generated from website sign-ups
-Updates Rise Website
-Helps as needed with tasks from the leadership team
