FVRD Fall Training Camp 2023 Registration

We are excited to offer our four week training program for all folks who are interested in joining or returning to the league in any capacity, on or off skates! If you are a returning active league member from last Spring season who doesn't need to borrow gear, you do not need to fill out this registration form.

The registration fee for this training camp will be $20-$50, on a sliding scale. You decide how much you are able to pay (no proof or reasoning required).

We do have a small gear library available for loaners, and are more able to locate appropriate loaner gear if you provide sizing ahead of time; more details below.

When?

The program begins on Monday, September 11 and will run from 6:30PM to 8:30PM on Mondays and Wednesdays through (and including) October 4. You'll have the opportunity to join the league and continue practicing after that!

The first night (Sept. 11) will be focused on orientation and foundations - you will fill out paperwork, sort our your gear situation, learn about what's on the agenda for the following weeks, and do some introductory strength and balance work.

If you won't be able to make it to first session and still want to participate, please contact us to see if we are able to make accommodations for you.

Where?

All sessions will be held at the Flathead County Fairgrounds, primarily in the Expo Building, but occasionally in the Country Fair Kitchen. The first night (Sept 11), we will meet in the Expo Building.

My registration fee covers the use of rental skates and gear during sessions (if needed), but gear is limited and will be issued on a "first to register" basis. FVRD will do our best to equip you, but it may take a session or two to find gear to fit!
