The Eastern Region Water Utility Coordinating Committee (WUCC) has begun the Water Supply Assessment (WSA) portion for the WUCC planning process, and needs input from municipal officials. The WSA is a review of the existing public water supply systems assessing conditions, needs, issues, and deficiencies. Specifically, the assessment will include a description of existing water systems; availability and adequacy of any future water sources; existing service area boundaries and public water system limits established by statute, special act, or administrative decision; present and projected growth rates; and status of water system planning, land use planning and coordination between public water systems. The WUCC Is In need of input from all the towns and cities within the Eastern WUCC Region.
