BAC Tournament Team Application, Fall 2026
8 Tournament-Themed Team Classes/Meetings on the following Saturday dates : 
9/19,  10/3,  10/10,  10/24,  10/31,  11/7,  11/21,  12/12
12:00 - 2:00 PM in Palo Alto (505 E Charleston Rd).

We will accept applications until the 3rd Session, so the course will have a prorated cost for Families that have a later start.

This Form is used as an application to certify that the Player is between the appropriate Skill and Age Range.

What Programs has the Player been taking to learn Chess up until this point (After-School, Online, Weekends, Tutoring.. etc ) 
The minimum USCF Rating (not Online Rating) for the BAC Tournament Team is 600. This is a non-negotiable minimum. BAC hosts group Lessons and rated events every weekend (see the Tourn Menu) so that you may earn this minimum rating. 

A player not yet at 600 is either better suited for Club classes until their skill meets minimum.. or, is not a regular Tournament Player (does not compete often enough to join the Tournament Team).  

Please confirm here that the Player is above 600-USCF, between Age 6-15, AND will play in regular Tournament events at a minimum of once per month.  (Please bring notation sheets from these events to the Team meetings).

We will be providing custom BAC Team Shirts.  Please indicate the SIZE of Shirt you would like to order if selected for the Team. (slightly larger > slightly smaller). There is no extra charge for the Shirt.  If you already HAVE a Black Team shirt and would prefer a Notation Booklet, that's okay too! *
 We will be accepting Applications up to the 3rd Team session (out of 8), You will be notified by email if the player was accepted as a BAC Team Member and can register here:  Registration Page
