Welcome to the Tangle! volunteer sign up sheet. Thank you for offering to help us with the practical workings of creating this rope jam together! Your contributions are highly valued and deeply felt.
Please fill out the form below. The more flexible you can be, the easier it makes it for us to ensure everyone's desire for participation can be met. It's really good to give us your first choice and a second choice, as some roles fill up faster than others. We will send out a confirmation of your shift before the event.
Please note that early shifts are popular and tend to fill up fast--please consider signing up for a later shift if possible!
* Pre-Event Setup
Help create a welcoming space by laying out mats, arranging furniture, prepping the snack area, filling water stations, and—weather permitting—setting up the outdoor suspension rig.
* Top Door/Charter
Uses the Mission Control computer to check in guests as they arrive. Collects money for people paying for covid tests. Explains the rules of the party. Asks guests if they have been to Mission Control before. Everyone has read the charter out loud. This job requires someone familiar with MC play parties. In addition to being admitted to this event once the shift is over, charter volunteers are also comped a free admission to the following Tangle!
* Cleanup
Help us close the event with care by putting away mats, resetting furniture, tidying the snack area, collecting trash, and breaking down the outdoor suspension rig if it was set up. This should take roughly 30 minutes.
