CGY Student Leadership Application
The purpose of CGY Student Leadership is to raise up and equip HS students to be submitted learners and servant leaders for Christ through serving, loving, and leading those around them.

The expectations for the Student Leadership Team are as follows:
  • This commitment to be on the Student Leadership Team is from September 2024 to May 2025. There will also be an opportunity to join the SLT at the beginning of the Spring Semester.
  • SLT will have meetings the last Sunday morning of each month. Prioritize attending and participating in each one.
  • Regularly attend (at least 80%) CGY Wednesday night gatherings.
  • Attend and participate in your designated D-Group one Sunday morning a month.
  • Set a good example in conduct and character by following the example of Christ.
    • Seek out new students with intentionality and friendliness.
    • Respect your leaders and peers.
    • Pay attention and be an active participant during Wednesday nights.
    • Have a humble and willing heart to serve others.
    • Be willing to humbly learn, be corrected, and be encouraged by CGY staff and leaders.
  • Arrive to Youth at 6:30p to pray and serve every Wednesday that you are able.
  • CGY Staff will communicate with the STL team through GroupMe. Be sure to read everything and respond when necessary.
  • Communicate with Ryan/Vonnie when you are unable to serve, attend d-group, or attend a SLT meeting.
If you have any concerns about being able to fulfill every expectation, we still encourage you to apply and we can talk about that in our interview!
