Fall 2026 -- OYAA Soccer Referee Training

We will evaluate options for additional sessions after August 9th. 

OYAA will offer 2 referee training classes for individuals interested in being a soccer referee during the Fall 2026 season.   Games begin Saturday, August 29, 2026.  A referee must be 12 years old (or older) by Friday, August 28, 2026. Attendance at 1 class is required to be eligible to officiate OYAA rec soccer games.

Class Option #1:  Saturday, August 1st, 2026  
Class size:  Max 40 referees
Check-in:  8:40 AM    
Class hours:  9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Class Option #2:  Sunday, August 9, 2026 
Class size:  Max 40 referees
Check-in:  12:40 PM     
Class hours:  1:00 - 4:00 PM

WHO should attend the training classes?
* Level 1 Referee = NEW... Fall 2026 season will be their first experience as a referee
* Level 2 Referee = Returning official with 1-2 seasons of experience in the OYAA Soccer Program.  
* Level 3 Referee = Returning official with 3+ seasons of experience in the OYAA Soccer Program.
* Level 3 Referee = Earned USSF grassroots (or higher) certification

Level 3 referees must attend only the last hour of a class to be eligible for both Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons.
