Provided is the Granite Bay Jr. Grizzlies Cheer Instructor Application. Individuals wishing to participate as instructors need to be aware of the required time commitment, events, and activities to support our cheer program.
At Granite Bay Jr. Grizzlies Cheer, our mission is to foster a positive and inclusive environment where young athletes can learn, grow, and excel in the sport of cheerleading. Our primary goal is to instill Teamwork, Discipline, and Self-Confidence in our participants while promoting Safety and Sportsmanship.
You
are expected to attend all Home Games & Practices that do not interfere
with your High School Cheer practice/games. We request your attendance at all
away games. Head Coaches and/or GBJG staff will happily help provide
transportation to away games. Please communicate with your Head and/or Assistant
Coach or Cheer Board with any scheduling issues.
All Instructors will be required to read and submit the following:
- Commitment to GBJG Mission Statement
- Attend Cheer Clinics/Camps
- Agree to and sign the GBJG Cheer Coach Code of Conduct
- Agree to and sign the GBJG Cheer Coaches/Instructors Handbook
- Agree to and sign the GBJG Anti-Bullying Policy
- Agree to and sign the GBJG Social Media Policy
Instructor positions will be assigned following high school tryouts and player placement. GBJG Head Coaches will evaluate and determine the selection and assignment of instructors for their respective teams. Filling out this application does not guarantee you an Instructor position. Coaches and Cheer Board Members have the right to refuse/remove instructors when necessary.
