In 2013, her fate changed when Marnie fell in love with the ukulele (who wouldn’t?). This happy instrument is the perfect fit for her fondness of the music from the Great American Songbook. Since then, she hasn’t looked back.
In Colorado, you can see her as the “Girl Singer” for The Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra; was recently a guest vocalist with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic; and is an arranger / performing member of the Rocky Mountain Ukulele Orchestra. She is currently working towards her teacher certification with James Hill Ukulele Initiative.
Marnie is an experienced cabaret performer with over 10 shows she has written and performed. In 2019, she will debut her latest piece paying tribute to the one and only, Peggy Lee. For 8 years, she was the owner/performer for Reveille 3 – An Andrews Sisters Tribute Act – touring extensively in the U.S., and performing at the 70th Commemoration of D-Day in France.
Originally from Bloomington, IN and Cameron, OK (gotta spread the love around the mid- west), she’s called Denver home for 19 years. When she’s not singing on stage, you can find her traveling the world with her husband, Patrick, or snuggling on the couch with her Boston Terrier, Reilly.
