that your child will be absent from an NPMK rehearsal. This form is to be filled out by a parent only. Students are not able to excuse themselves from NPMK for safety reasons. Absences should be submitted at least one week in advance, except in the case of sudden illness.
Attendance Policy:
Student attendance is the most important part of the recipe for success that NPMK has historically enjoyed. Absences should be strictly limited to major family events (vacations, weddings, bar mitzvahs, funerals, etc.) and student illness (enough to keep a child home from school).
Work, homework, family birthdays, concerts and other such events are not considered excused absences. Such conflicts must be worked out so that students can attend NPMK rehearsals.
