Dave Smith, Janice Fine, and Ravi Subramanian in discussion on organising and how we get to win!
Wednesday 21 October 7pm till 9pm

In the second of our Reflections on Organising series, we continue our quest to bring together some of the best organisers we know. We will interview each of them, and then hand over to the audience to devise questions which we will put to a round table of the panel.

In this the second of our  ‘Reflections’ we are really proud to announce that we will have Professor Janice Fine, the world’s leading expert on workers centres, Dave Smith, a key figure in the rank and file builders movement of the 1980s, and more recently the Blacklist Support Group, and Ravi Subramanian, West Midlands Regional Secretary of Unison, and pioneer of a ‘leverage’ approach to winning disputes for low paid council employees

It is going to be fun, interesting, and we hope challenging, because we are deliberately inviting people who come from different perspectives. They may have different approaches to strategy or tactics, but they are all committed to creating positive change in our communities and workplaces. We will learn not just from their individual perspectives but as we watch them explore the different approaches that they have found to work in different situations.

It really is not to be missed, and it is free. So what are you waiting for sign up!

This event is part of the Ella Baker School of Organising's  'Reflections on Organising' series organised in association with:
