“We are Ethical Culture” introduces American Ethical Union members to the history and values of Ethical Culture with emphasis on contribution to the movement, ethical action, and collaboration among peers. Our coursework will explore Ethical Culture identity — both in the movement and in their personal understanding — while building collaborative relationships through ethical action.
The Fall 2025 cohort of the course will meet on Zoom for 90 minutes every other week from October 28 through December 9.

Registration
This course is participatory. When you register for this course, you commit to attending all four Zoom sessions and to completing the course assignments. If you are unable to attend more than one session, we will add your name to our waitlist and contact you if there are seats available one week prior to the first session on October 28.
Course assignments include readings, videos, and self-reflection that should be completed prior to attending each session. You should set aside at least 2 hours to complete the assignment between sessions and arrive prepared to discuss the assignments.
This course is limited to 50 participants. Priority is given to our waitlist and members who have not yet registered for this course. We Are Ethical Culture will be offered twice each year, and an independent study course will be available later in 2025.
This Course is offered through the Leadership Training Initiative, a program of the American Ethical Union. Course content may be shared with the AEU Leadership Committee during and after the course.
