Webinar - Decarbonising the residential sector #decarbuilding
The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) is pleased to present its first of a series webinar dedicated to showcasing the best practices from the Heat Pump City of the Year award (HPCY) and EU projects which aim to promote innovative solutions to decarbonise the heating and cooling sector in Europe.

The HPCY is an EHPA project, which aims to award the best solutions in decarbonising the building sector, industrial sector, the most innovative heat pump solution and the most active city. The HPCY started in 2011, collecting more than 100 application all around Europe and awarded 15 best examples

The First Webinar will showcase three projects from the HPCY which have developed smart solutions for: apartments, social houses and public building. The three examples use heat pumps in combination with other renewable technologies to reduce energy consumption, CO2 emission and increase thermal comfort.
The Heat4Cool is a H2020 project which is promoting a combination of six different technologies in three residential buildings in Europe (Poland, Spain, Bulgaria) and a district heating application in Hungary.

The webinars aim to raise awareness on existing solutions which if replicated around Europe, could deliver today a full decarbonisation of the heating and cooling sector.
