God Did It Ministries Volunteer Form
ABOUT:Sanchez Tanniehill is the Founder and CEO of God Did It Ministries, a local 501 3 c nonprofit organization in the Greater Birmingham area who spreads hope and help in a time of need for local residents. Sanchez and his organization team and volunteers continuously lead local projects that have a great impact on underserved communities, at risk youth, and low-income residents who need a hand up, not a hand out. Sanchez has traveled around the state and abroad as a motivational speaker to share his testimony of what God has done for him since having had a stroke at 6 weeks of age and subsequently being raised up by God for His glory in a number of projects and venues. He is a highly recognized gospel singer and set his new single, “God Did It” as his testimony to music. His music tells a story that reaches and connects with the souls of others who have also been through trials and tribulations in life and still walk strong in their faith. His inspiration comes from his family’s walk through adversity and also through the testimony of so many others he has administered to and helped over the years.
Recognition of Achievements for Sanchez include the opening act for the annual Alabaster City Fest events; 2005 American Idol participant (2nd round); opening act for the Special Olympics; 2014 People’s Choice Award Winner – Gospel Artist of the Year; Author of the God Did it Book release, 2015; and has released four CDs since 2015.
Sanchez Tanniehill and his nonprofit organization have been involved with many local community partners and projects to spread their hope and help for residents in need including the Farm to Families project, local food and sock drives, Kelly Ingram Park with More Than Conquerors Church, Back to School Rally in Ingram Park, Kingdom Youth Explosion in Railroad Park, His Word Ministries Fine Arts Showcase, Lovelady Center, Gadsden Civic Center, Hydrate Tours, and several Unstoppable Tours in Alabama, Arizona, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Texas.
A priority for God Did it Ministries in 2021 is to secure the funding needed to purchase a box truck that can be filled with blessings and supplies and visit the inner cities and highly rural areas of the Greater Birmingham area. Their vision is to reach out to these neighborhoods, build relationships, and meet the needs of the residents who are struggling spiritually and financially where they live, instead of the residents needing to reach out to God Did it Ministries or other advocacy organization for help and hope in their time of need
