Availabilitya. The internship is a moderately demanding one, with selected participants being responsible for upwards of 4 projects per semester. b. On top of project completion, interns are expected to fulfill a minimum of 5 hours per week in the Center for Student Involvement office. The purpose of this is to introduce individuals to the office atmosphere and the business mentality associated with the day to day operations of a successful Fraternity and Sorority experience, as well as establish a set time where the intern can check in and discuss projects with the Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Life.
Selectiona. A maximum of two Interns may be selected each semester (with the option to extend for the remainder of the school year) – 1 Man and 1 Woman (preferred)b. Selection will be based on several key components including ability to meet the prerequisites, the applicant’s answers on the application, and a personal interview with the Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Life and/or other CSI staff.
Compensationa. This internship is intended to count toward specific class credit based on the skills and academic program of the individual applicant. A $250 stipend is available for applicants unable to qualify for academic credit and would be paid to the student at the end of the semester through the student employment office.
