2018 Veterans Support Lifeline Sign on Letter
Please join veterans' organizations opposing drastic cuts to the federal Lifeline program, the only federal program targeted at assisting low-income households with the cost of broadband and telephone service. An estimated 10-13 percent of current Lifeline beneficiaries are veterans of U.S. military service. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently made a number of proposals widely opposed by non-profits and industry alike which will harm this critical program by:
• eliminate service for approximately 70 percent of current participants, and
• impose ineffective and administratively complex self-enforcing budget caps and mandatory co-pays

The sign on letter is for ORGANIZATIONS. The text of the letter is available at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xB2nG0T7AN0K17M8-hUfxf4ifP4IrNRl/view?usp=sharing

***The deadline for signing is Friday June 29, 2018. If you have questions, contact Cheryl Leanza at 202-904-2168 or cleanza@alhmail.com. ***
