Salaam Dear Leila
Welcome to our new column, Salaam Dear Leila!

We're so excited to have author Leila Aboulela as Overtly Lit's first ever agony aunt. Leila is a Sudanese-born writer whose work has received critical acclaim for its distinctive exploration of identity, migration and Islamic spirituality.

Her books include The Translator, The Kindness of Enemies and Bird Summons. You can find more about her and her work here: http://www.leila-aboulela.com/

We welcome questions from people of all faiths or none. We encourage you to ask about what matters most to you, including general life problems. Think about issues that could benefit from advice which takes your faith into account as Leila will answer your questions with a faith-centric approach.

We look forward to your questions!
