You're The Difference...

Welcome to the world's largest volunteer effort for the ocean. With your help, Save Our Shores will recruit thousands of volunteers to gather at 75 cleanup sites along the Monterey Bay to remove tons of pollution from our shores. This is a one day community event set to begin at 9:00am on Saturday September 17th, so remember to bring your friends and family for a fun day in the sun. When you fill out the form below, please choose only ONE cleanup site location to participate in. We'll contact you with more information once we receive your submission. See you on the beach or levee!

Try Our New Cleanup Data App!

It’s free and designed to take the place of our traditional data collection cards, improve volunteer data entry experience, reduce paper waste, improve database efficiency, and offer incentives for beachgoers that organize impromptu beach cleanups. The data you provide helps us inform ocean policy, science, and education along the California Central Coast. Next time your at a beach in the Monterey Bay, use the Save Our Shores app and you’ll be entered to win awesome schwag from Patagonia!

2016 ANNUAL COASTAL CLEANUP DAY SPONSORS

Save Our Shores Annual Coastal Cleanup wouldn’t be possible without the support and dedication of our many volunteers, Site Captains, Sanctuary Stewards, sponsors, and partners. Coordinating such a mass cleanup effort takes extensive community involvement.
