We are delighted that you are submitting a paper for this exciting and important international event! Please note that for your paper to be considered, ALL requested information must be provided. It is highly recommended that you keep a copy of your "proposal abstract" and "proposal description" in Microsoft Word as a backup. Please review all information prior to final submission.

PROPOSALS ARE DUE BY October 15, 2018. Please note that all presenters and co-presenters must be registered for the conference in order to present and to be listed in the program. You will receive notification of your paper acceptance by November 15th - in time to register for the conference at the Early Bird discounted rate!

CONFERENCE STRANDS: (On the next page, you will be asked to choose one strand from the options below)

Presentations will focus on educational leadership and understanding of policy-based and policy aligned practices

2. POLICY AND PRACTICE - Presentations will focus on:
a. What are some best practices implemented successfully in your setting based on the most current research?
b. Discuss how current practices link to your national and local policies.
c. How do current policies interfere with or promote classroom practices?
d. Share the most effective evidence based classroom strategies that you use in your classroom.

Presentations will focus on inclusive practices that have created access and equity which have been positively impacting on student achievement and teachers' attitude in inclusive settings. 

Presentations will focus on barriers to inclusion and the way forward to ensure the enactment of policy and the transition from policy to practice. This could include parent perception, practitioner’s views, and perceptions of other advocates.
