Parish Community Lenten Meal VOLUNTEER Sign-Up 2024
In 2023, SRN hosted 1 Lenten Meal before Stations of the Cross. It was wonderful to see the parish community come together! We had a lot of requests to have more than 1 this year, and we ARE! We are hosting 2! We've doubled it for you. Perhaps next year we can offer even more! Let's build a strong volunteer base!

It takes many hands to make these events successful. Please consider area(s) you/your family are willing to assist! Thank you! TO AVOID CONFUSiON, PLEASE FILL OUT 1 FORM PER PERSON/FAMILY MEMBER! 

***This is open to the WHOLE parish community! Individuals, couples, those with young children, those with grown children... all are welcome to come! 
We will have activities and crafts available for kids.

THE FOLLOWING SEVERAL SECTIONS INTRODUCE EACH VOLUNTEER NEED. SIMPLY LEAVE THE ONES BLANK THAT YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN. Thank you!

Planning/Idea Committee:
This involves meeting with Kristen and other committee members to plan and discuss ideas (activities, crafts, etc). It's ideal if you will provide in-person assistance the day of the event for at least 1 of the 3 events.

Decorating/Set Up:

Decorating and setup is between 12-3pm the day of each event. 
This includes putting out any decor, tablecloths, materials for activities, etc.

Take-home prep:

If there's a need for things at home such as cutting/tracing/putting together craft kits, we'd reach out and see if you're willing to take on the task.

Cooking (food donation):

**Please note: we don't offer desserts during the Lenten season of fasting. That's why you don't see a 'baking' option listed for the Lenten Meals.

Meal Crew:

Heat food, serve food, replenish food, refill drink station, take empty/dirty dishes to the sink, etc. 

SHIFT NEEDED: 3:30pm-6pm

You may stay later to help with cleanup if you'd like.

Activity/Game/Craft station:

I am interested in helping out at a craft or game station.
This means assisting attendees as needed and replenishing supplies. 

If you are interested, please let us know if you're interested in helping with any of these stations or what preferences are.
Example: open to any of them, but prefer crafts
OR
I will only help with a craft station, I'm not interested in games/activities.
Cleanup Crew:

This includes stacking chairs, wiping down tables, vacuuming the floor, washing dirty dishes, etc.

SHIFT NEEDED: 6:15pm- 7:15pm
OR 7pm-8pm
If you're attending Stations of the Cross, you are welcome to attend and then come back up for cleanup after, approximately 7pm

After-event-help:

If we have any sorting/organizing projects after the event, we would contact you to come and help out early the following week (probably Mon, Tue or Wed) to come in and help.

If you want to list days/times that work best, you can do so here. If your schedule is flexible (or ever-changing), feel free to leave it blank. Kristen will reach out to you and set up a time that works for both!
