WHO WE ARE
The Providence (PVD) Childcare Collective is a group of volunteer childcare providers who love to play and support movements for justice! We believe that accessible childcare is essential to all movements for liberation. By offering free and affirming care at movement spaces, we help expand the organizing capacity of our communities and uphold caregiving as essential to social transformation.

WHAT WE DO
We offer free, volunteer-based childcare at meetings, actions, and events organized by grassroots and social justice groups in Providence, RI. We are grounded in a commitment to racial justice and prioritize supporting work led by Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and organizers of color. 

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Interested in joining the collective? Fill out this form, and a member of our collective will follow up to connect with you, share more about our values and practices, and help you get oriented. Our next new member meeting will take place in August 2025—we’d love for you to be there! Details about the meeting, including time and location, will be shared once a member reaches out.
