Tour De Frederick 2017 Radio Operator Signup
We Need Volunteers
The Tour De Frederick event is a combination of a 60 mile ride and a 100 mile ride. These 2 different rides cover much of the same roads with the 100 mile ride going up into Pennsylvania into the Gettysburg area before returning the Maryland and coming back onto the same course as the 60 mile ride.

We need radio operators for both the 5 rest stops and for the SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles. Communication is important for the safety of the riders and for the organization of the rides.

If you we part of the rides in 2016, you know how important communications was. The hottest day of the year and lots of riders needed help in either being picked up, taken from a rest stop to the finish, water delivered to other locations on the ride course, etc. This is a great way to practice our emergency communications skills.

Please signup below if you can help us out this year.
