ENTERING YOUR PROPOSAL
The system will keep track of your progress, and you can return as many times as needed to each section before submission to edit, add, or revise your submission. After completion of your submission for any additional edits or to withdraw your proposal, you will need to contact the PAGE Administrative Assistant via the email provided above.
PROPOSAL AND PRESENTATION LIMITS
You may submit up to four proposals. In the final program, an individual can participate in up to 4 presentations. This rule does not apply to PAGE Keynote, Spotlight, Parents of Gifted, or Affiliate Weekend Sessions. These are invited presentations developed by the PAGE Conference Chair(s) and PAGE Executive Board. It does include Poster Sessions.
PROPOSAL DESIGN AND ABSTRACT
To present the very best and most relevant content, organized in Different Strands, PAGE's Annual Conference proposals require no more than a 60-word description that describes the session content to attendees and at least a 250-word description for evaluation purposes.* The 250-word description should include detailed information such as practical application to a particular audience(s), knowledge and tools that attendees will receive, and, if possible, links to background research/theory. Do not include the names of any presenters in the descriptions.
PAGE highly encourages proposal submissions that include information about, or educational strategies that serve, diverse populations of gifted students.
The PAGE board implements blind reviews of all conference proposals. The PAGE Conference Chair(s), Conference Committee, and select members of the PAGE Executive Board finalize the selections to ensure the process is fair, balanced, and broadly representative of the field. You will receive a notice via email in summer 2021 regarding the status of your proposal submission(s).
