Young ChangeMaker's Application
Join the Young ChangeMaker's program for a 6-week course designed to encourage and equip you to pursue an idea, product, or project that will make a difference in the world. With as much hurt and hate as we see in the world, we want to champion the ideas of young people that are going to drown out the shadows with light.

This course will run for 6 weeks, starting on Thursday, October 19. We will have a week off for Thanksgiving and finish the course on November 30. The course will be held in Navy Yard at Steadfast Supply, a retail concept that celebrates creative entrepreneurs every Thursday from 4:30-6:00.

Participants will work in groups to develop an idea for a product, project, or company that gives back or meets the needs of a community they care about. They will learn essential concepts of Social Innovation such as Critical Thinking, Creative Problem Solving, Prototyping, Budgeting, and Pitching their Idea. They will have the opportunity to meet and talk to local artists and business owners who are giving back.

At the end of the course, each of the four groups will pitch their concept for a product, project, or company to a panel for the chance to win seed money to pursue their goals.

If you think you have the potential to be a ChangeMaker for your community, fill out the application today!! There are only 12 spots available for this semester!!
