The SEATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award is designed to recognize and honor those members of our District who have served and demonstrated outstanding and unusual service to SEATA and the profession of Athletic Training.  The nomination period for the SEATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award will close on November 1st of current year.  The deadline for nominations is November 1st of each year (all nominations remain strictly confidential).

Eligibility:

- Minimum of 11 years as a certified member working or living in District IX.
- Minimum at least 15 years of service in the profession.
- Nominated by a certified member in District IX.
- All forms must be completed and returned to the SEATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Committee Chair by December 15th prior to the induction year.
- A Certified Athletic Trainer being nominated cannot solicit or influence the selection process.
- A nominee is eligible for re-nomination if the previous nomination was unsuccessful.  All nominations will be kept on file by the Chair for three years.  If after three years, a candidate is not elected, the candidate must be re-nominated and a new application must be received by the Chair.
- Members of the SEATA Hall of Fame are not eligible for the Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award.
