The Parent Collective Location Director Interest Form

The Parent Collective launched in Connecticut in 2017, inspired by our founder’s experience of having her children in the UK. There she had access to a prenatal education program which is known locally as the ‘place where you make your parent friends’.  It was a total lifesaver for her and some of her best friends to this day are from that experience.  She moved back to the US and discovered that nothing like it exists here and as a result, many moms feel incredibly isolated during their child’s early life. So she is working to change that.

Our prenatal education series sorts participants by their neighborhood and due date to help encourage community building.  We currently offer a variety of programming to support parents in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Michigan and Florida and we are actively expanding to locations across the country.

Our location directors launch our prenatal education series in their community through local partnerships with like-minded businesses, connecting with doctor’s practices and practitioners catering to a pregnant audience. They are responsible for local marketing and for managing the logistics of the series. This is an entirely flexible role and structured as a profit share of ticket sales.

This is a perfect opportunity for a mom with young kids who wants to dip her toe back into working but without the schedule constraints of a traditional job. This would also be ideal for coaches, postpartum doulas or anyone working with new moms as it can act as a feeder to their services.  This person must have an entrepreneurial mindset, as they will be building their own local business from the ground up (with lots of support from us).
