Make More Everything Challenge 2021 (Writing, Music, Art, Film)

How to register:
You have the option to register for ONE of the creative disciplines as either an individual or a group (i.e One musician may register their band for the music portion or one filmmaker may register their film crew for the film portion).

Event Description:
Participants will be randomly placed into teams that consist of one of the following: Writer(s), Musician(s), Visual Artist(s), Filmmaker(s). Each team consisting of each 4 of the creative disciplines will have 1 week (6/4 - 6/12) to create a 5 min film based on a randomly selected theme. On 7/2, we will showcase everyone's work at the Lyric Cinema in the form of an art exhibit, music performance, film premiere, as well as a Q&A for filmmakers and writers. Although this isn't a competition, we will be giving out an Audience Choice award to the team with the most votes. Remember, this is fun and a chance to branch out and work with new creatives within our community.
Timeline:
6/2 at 11:59PM: Registration is due.
6/4 at 6PM: Each participant will meet at Lyric Cinema to meet the the members of their team that they've been assigned to. You will also be assigned your theme as well as some other fun stuff.
6/12 at 6PM: Each team submits their film to
ghostrunnerfilms@gmail.com or drops them off in person to Jesse Nyander at the Lyric Cinema between 3-6PM.
7/2 at 5PM: The big party. Art from the films will be put on display. Musicians will have the chance to perform their songs on the outdoor stage. Films will be shown at sundown on the outdoor screen followed by a Q&A. Audience Choice Award will be given to one team. And then... dance party.
