League will start the week of December 5th 2022 and run 16 weeks and run through the end of March.
** If you can't make the week of Dec 5th you can also start the week of Dec 12th.
TWO BIG CHANGES
1. YOU ONLY HAVE TO GET IN THREE ROUNDS IN A MONTH!
2. SCORING WILL BE SCRAMBLE FORMAT WITH ONE PARTNER
Additionally: You can do multiple rounds a night to catch up if needed.
I wanted to make it more flexible to include as many people as possible this year.
ALSO PLEASE DON'T BE DISCOURAGED IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PARNTNER.
I'm going to take all the singles and match people up based on skill and age.
League dues are $250.
- This includes three rounds a month from Dec '22 - Mar '23
- Leagues will be open to anyone 16+ years old - Male or Female
- Teams will be comprised of 2 people per team and you'll play scramble.
- Time slots will be 2 hours to play 9 holes with 2 teams (4 people) per simulator (8 people total per time slot) Can also be 1 hour for 1 team if schedule permits.
- Time limits will be enforced to keep things moving.
- Rounds have to played Tues - Thurs.
- The time slots will be 4pm-6pm-8pm, Tues, Wed, and Thurs.
> Slots during the day can be scheduled by appointment.
> We’ll open up Monday and/or Wednesday until 12am if there’s enough demand.
- Our main walkin business is Friday - Sunday, so if you want to make up a round during that time you will also have to pay the regular rate.
WE DECIDED TO CHANGE THE SCORING TO MAKE IT MORE FUN
> As a team you will play scramble
> After the first month you'll get a handicap as a team based on your scramble scores.
> Scoring will be based on a point system based on where you placed that week against your handicap.
> Ex. If there are 10 teams and score the lowest that week you get 10 points. 1st - 10pts. 2nd - 9pts. 3rd - 8pts. etc.
> If a person ties. 1st 10pts. 2-3 ties for 8.5pts (17 total pts for 2nd and 3rd split). 3rd 8 pts. etc.
