IIT Alternative Spring Break: Staff Interest Form
Alternative Spring break is a student led service oriented organization and we partner with Habitat for Humanity during Spring break to travel and build homes in different parts of the United States for the economically weaker sections of society.
IIT Alternative Spring Break is a student-run organization dedicated to promoting the spirit of community service among students and invested staff and faculty by volunteering their time and efforts over the annual academic year spring break. It aims to raise awareness about social issues like homelessness, poverty and economic injustice plaguing our country today by providing a comprehensive team-building and service-learning experience.
ASB staff members must be available to travel within the U.S. with the team for the week of spring break (March 14-21, 2015). Also, we would like staff members to be available for the week prior to spring break, to meet and confirm trip logistics. This year's site location has not yet been confirmed, as site registration does not open until Oct. 15, 2014.
