Lesley Hastings Clarinet Lessons
Dr. Hastings received her Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in 2010 from the University of Illinois at Urbana­Champaign and her Bachelor’s Degree in 2003 in her home state of Florida at the University of Miami. She has performed at some of the top performance venues in the country including Carnegie Hall, Symphony Hall in Boston, Symphony Center in Chicago, and the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts as well as holding the Bass Clarinet position in the Champaign­Urbana Symphony and was guest artist at Colorado Mesa University's Clarinet Day. Dr. Hastings also held one of the Teaching Assistant positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where she taught applied clarinet and the clarinet methods class for Undergraduate Music Education Majors. She currently plays principal clarinet with The Waterloo Wind Band and Balcones Chamber Orchestra here in Austin and teaches privately in Lake Travis ISD and Bowie High School.

Lessons are held in Grammar Hall Room 179.

Lessons begin week of January 13 and end with a recital on Friday, May 8. There are 14-16 weeks/lessons in the spring semester. Fees for lessons are $28/30 minute lesson. Fees will be billed through FACTS in February.
