Parent Volunteering

We are seeking parent volunteers to help make the WMS Vocal Department the best it can be this year and beyond! This cannot be accomplished without your help. Below are several opportunities for you to help with. If you would like to volunteer, please selection one or more options below. I will pass your name and email address on to our Weston Friends of Music Parent Liaison. Please email Ms. Tight or Mr. Eldridge with any questions.

Concert Venue Decorations (Halloween, December Holiday, Springtime, etc.)

Singer wrangling/supervision in warm-up rooms during concert

Publicity (you will be working in cooperation with our student Publicity Managers)

Supplying Food and Beverages for Post-Concert Repections

Post-Concert Reception Setup and Cleanup

Working Post-Concert Reception Food and Beverage Tables

I acknowledge that I am the parent/legal guardian of the student listed above and I am giving permission for that student to participate in MMEA District/State events, the Music Dept. Trip (6 Flags), and local/community outreach performances. Students will be transported by Weston Public School busses unless otherwise noted.

As the parent of a member of a Weston Middle School choral ensemble, I have read the applicable Choral Handbook(s) and fully understand and will adhere to what is expected and required of me and my child throughout the school year, including required concerts, grading policies, concert dress code, etc. I also understand that my singer is expected to practice their choral repertoire outside of class using the resources provided on Google Classroom.
