Board Member Responsibilities & Roles (summary):

  • WeShine Board members are active participants in sustaining the organization, planning the future direction, and ensuring integrity of the organization.
  • Monthly Board Meetings, currently on second Wednesdays, 6:30 to 8:30pm, in-person preferred, virtual options available.  In-person meetings usually at Westminster Presbyterian Church (1624 NE Hancock, Portland).
  • Each member serves on at least one board committee meeting monthly, plus attends other occasional special events 
  • Board members contribute and help solicit financial support for WeShine as able.
